It is not only a file-backup solution, but it *backs up all programs*, *settings, preferences* and *documents*, or, in other words, a snap shot of a hard disk partition that allows to restore it to the exact state as it was at the time of the backup.
 After the partition is restored, all settings, and preferences, programs etc. are back!
  
 If the backup is needed just boot from the first backup disc and wait for the restore to complete.
  
 After restore *no reinstall of programs* etc. is necessary.
