 To *restore* the image insert your first Backup-CD/DVD into the CD/DVD drive and boot from that CD/DVD. You possibly have to change the *boot sequence* in the BIOS. You have to change it in that way that the system tries to start from CD first. Newer systems don't require these manual changes.
  
 The following dialogue appears:

  Select the partition you want to restore and press "Return".{info:title=Restoring of partition table}
 If there is not shown a partition or if the partition does not have a sufficient size press F6 or F7 to restore the partition table of the saved hard disk. If you use a new hard disk (a replacement hard disk) which is larger than the saved hard disk a part of the hard disk will not be used. You can change this by using corresponding software (free of charge: \[GParted\|http://gparted.sourceforge.net\]).
