Image Restoration

There are several different ways to restore a hard disk from a RSJ HD Image:

Method Advantages Limitations
Boot from CD Easiest way to restore; just boot from the CD cannot be used if image is stored in a file
Restore in Windows environment most flexible and powerful way to restore needs a Win32 environment to run RSJ HD Image Restore
Restore in DOS environment restore image files not requiring a CD drive or Win32 environment DOS limits file size to 2GB; not suitable if image files are larger
